I wanted it to look like a Japanese woodblock print but drawn in my own style. I originally drew it in pencil, and then scanned it in to color from there, but whatever.
If you were wondering, the answer is no, I cannot write Japanese. I used the translator on dictionary.com and then tried to copy the characters. So, it probably says something like elegance, teamwork, umbrella up there. Hence the title. I found it catchy. Enjoy!

I liked this image in black and white, the characters were very strong, but the amazing amount of movement kind of demanded color to ease the chaos. This coloring feels perfect and does a great job complimenting your linework.
